McCord had recurring roles in the TV series Renegade from 1995 to 1997, Silk Stalkings from 1996 to 1998, JAG from 1998 to 2000, and Farscape from 1999 to 2003. He also starred in the movies Airplane II: The Sequel and Predator 2. In 1999 he was awarded the Ralph Morgan Award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
