Myles Kennedy started his professional music career in 1990 when he joined Cosmic Dust Fusion Band as a lead guitarist. The following year, they released their first music album, Journey, which was well received by audiences as well as critics. Soon, Kennedy left the group and joined another music band Citizen Swing as their lead vocalist and guitarist. They released their debut music album, Cure Me with the Groove, in 1993.
